Red Pocket for Chinese Journalists

In the Chinese PR world, the “travel fee” refers to a sum of money contained in a blank envelope provided by a PR agency for journalists when they attend press activities. The amount of money is higher than “travel” around in China. It is more for “appreciation” for press to spare time to attend the press event. So, the travel fee just like a red pocket. Usually, the travel fee is RMB 300 (US$ 45) for journalists attending the press events. The travel fee is packed in a blank envelope, put into press kit before it is handed to reporters after he/she signs on the registration form.

Sharon Stone - Brainless Idiot

Sharon Stone? I remembered that in previous articles, she is the perfect example of both beauty and wisdom. Journalists were keen on citing her high IQ scores, so we many people believe that she is a very intelligent!

But, not this time! Check below comments by Sharon Stone on the red carpet in Cannes, when was asked about Sichuan earthquake in China.

'Well you know it was very interesting because at first, you know, I am not happy about the ways the Chinese were treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And so I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do about that because I don't like THAT.

And I had been this, you know, concerned about, oh how should we deal with the Olympics because they are not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine.
And all these earthquake and stuff happened and I thought: IS THAT KARMA? When you are not nice that bad things happen to you.

And then I got a letter, from the Tibetan Foundations that they want to go and be helpful. And that made me cry. And they ask me if I would write a quote about that and I said, "I would." And it was a big lesson to me, that some times you have to learn to put your head down and be of service even to people who are not nice to you. And that's a big lesson for me.'

Well, now we get to know how brainless Sharon Stone is, who did not know what human life is and what the reality is! She just showed us how a so-called high IQ person could be so idiot!

Actually, a big lesson for Sharon Stone should be - think twice before you talk!

Boycott Carrefour

Several days earlier, my classmate forwarded a message on the MSN to call for the boycott of French products and in particular, the French supermarket chain Carrefour on May 1.

And just one day later, another message saying that Carrefour will strike back by launching a promotion activity is also circulating. And many people warned that “Do not succumb to the lure of low prices and sell our souls and our pride!”

Well, there is a big Carrefour nearby where I am now living. And sometimes, I will go shopping there. And because of the internet call, I will not go to Carrefour on May 1. Although I am a sane person and I know that boycotting Carrefour will hurt our Chinese people in some extent, which Chinese people know clearly. But, I am sure that May 1 will be a hard day for Carrefour, definitely!
